These cards are intended to help writers when they're stuck and don't know what happens next. Inspired by the idea of a parent telling bedtime stories and being prompted by their child, "And then what happened?" at every pause, I thought of different sorts of things that might indeed happen next, then designed cards with these possible actions, events, or questions to think about. The monoweight-style line illustrations form part of the pattern printed across the back of the cards, as is visible in the inset photo.
