3 Star Wars Portraits

3 acrylic paintings (each roughly 3″×5″) I painted showcasing some of my favorite species from a certain set of movies. “It’s a Trap” You’d think he’d get tired of his catchphrase, but the good Admiral now spouts it anytime possible. Make sure you keep your spring-board-and-cheese mouse enticements out of view. “Job” After the downfall of crimelord Jabba, this Gamorrean found the old Hutt’s hookah and took it home, somehow managing to recreate the famous Mucha poster with the holographic Aurebesh letters hovering outside his window. “Forest Droid” The destruction of the Droid Control Ship above Naboo shut down most of the Separatist forces, but some—like this one with his damaged antenn—never got the order to power off. Instead, he made his own way: repairing himself with the parts of his fallen brethren, growing beyond his programming as he learned to survive in the swamps, and developing affectations like the red sash which served no purpose but somehow made sense to his degrading and cross-circuiting circuits.
